Using the history of World War II as a jumping-off point, campers have the chance to engage in fun, creative activities that will ignite their imaginations! Whether your camper enjoys creative expression, scientific pursuits, storytelling, or the art of deception—or perhaps all four—The National WWII Museum offers a variety of options for summertime learning and exploration.

Experience the drama and intrigue of espionage at The National WWII Museum’s Summer Spy Camp. Campers will solve puzzles and problems grounded in real WWII scenarios, using both physical and mental skills to complete their training as Special Museum Agents.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) come alive during The National WWII Museum’s Summer STEM Innovation Camp! Learn about the ingenuity and innovation behind the American victory in World War II through the lens of medical advancements.

Get in touch with your inner storyteller at The National WWII Museum’s Storytelling and Mixed Media Camp! Campers will explore how storytelling and media impacted World War II from the American Home Front and create their own stories and videos using the Museum as a backdrop.

During The National WWII Museum’s two-week Bob & Dolores Hope Summer Theater Camp, campers become future stars as they learn how BB’s Stage Door Canteen at The National WWII Museum puts on a show. Working one-on-one with trained, talented, and friendly Museum professionals in the Museum’s state-of-the-art Stage Door Canteen, campers will be taught the rudiments of stage-craft, including opportunities for both on-stage and off-stage roles. The final week of the Bob & Dolores Hope Summer Theater Camp will culminate in a variety show performance by the camp-goers in BB’s Stage Door Canteen, which will be open to friends and family. This performance will be professionally recorded for posterity with each family receiving a copy of the performance. All campers will also enjoy a special behind-the-scenes viewing of original USO entertainment artifacts and costumes from World War II.
