Westbank Florist is a woman owned family run business, supporting 3 generations of florists. While the owners are about to celebrate their 25th Anniversary, the business was originally established in the 70s and has been a Westbank staple for nearly 50 years. We are a full service florist, here to support you through life’s highs and lows, Births, Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Dances, I Love Yous, I’m Sorrys, Get Wells, Just Because, Funerals & Gravesides. We can make beautiful expressions of your love for whatever occasion arises.

Thanks to word of mouth, and the great community we serve, our business has continued to grow and expand. Our goal is to be a one stop shop for your gifting needs. In addition to our flowers, we are proud to offer locally made chocolates by Sailey’s Sweets, Candles & Bathbombs by Bourbon Royalty, and curated collection of Jewelry for any occasion.

Susan the Owner, and a Licensed Master Florist, has been creating beautiful arrangements for over 40 years and is nearing retirement. She has a wonderful staff that she is very proud of, including her daughter. She is actively training her daughter, Emily, a third generation Mexican woman, to take over the business. While Emily has spent her life working in the flower shop, she attended the University of Baylor, where she received a degree in Forensic Science. While she had a distinguished career with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office, she was not ready to let the business go when Susan began considering retirement. Working together, Susan and Emily are continuing to grow the business, with plans in the works to rebuild a larger Flower Shop to better meet the needs of their loyal customers. While Susan has been able to take a step back, allowing her daughter to manage most day to day options of the shop, she is working harder than ever, and loving every minute, taking care of her new grandson, who may someday take over the business himself.

We would like to again thank our customers for their loyalty and patronage. We look forward to serving you and the community at large for many more years to come.
