Raphael Academy is a Waldorf-inspired school serving students in K-12 who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, or other exceptionalities. Our mission is to meet our students and their families with reverence and compassion; and to educate them wholly, awakening their full potential as unique individuals, so that they may be actively involved in life and engaged in community. Our ideal classroom size maintains a 7:2 student-to-teacher/assistant ratio, giving our teachers the chance to know each student personally, gain insight into their unique personalities, and identify each student’s strengths and challenges. Our Waldorf curriculum is focused on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of every student. Core academic subjects are approached through practice-oriented teaching methods and daily arts integration. This curriculum enables Raphael Academy students to develop the cognitive, social, and physical skills needed to lead joyful, engaged lives beyond their school days. To learn more, visit our website at raphaelvillage.org or contact our Enrollment Director at enrollment@raphaelvillage.org. Open Houses on Saturday, January 7th; Wednesday, January 18th; Saturday, January 28th.
