St. Edward the Confessor School is a Catholic School serving students in PreK-1 (state-approved daycare) through 7th Grades.  The school is approved by the state of Louisiana and fully accredited by Cognia. Catholic beliefs and values permeate the curriculum, integrating Faith and Learning.   The comprehensive curriculum reinforces critical thinking skills and prepares students for academic success at competitive admissions high schools and beyond.  Technology one-to-one device programs in PreK3 through 7th grades enhance learning, and students in Prek 4 through 7th grades attend weekly technology classes that introduce various software programs and provide skills needed for cross curricular and collaborative projects.  The curriculum includes classes in Spanish, Art, Physical Education, Technology, Library, and Music. Leadership, Social Skills, Academic and Artistic pursuits, and Service experiences are developed through a wide range of sports and extra-curricular programs and activities.  The extensive fine arts offerings include art, instrumental music, band, chorale, handbell choir, ukulele club, readers’ theater, clown ministry, and general music.  Students also attend Mass weekly and participate in multiple service organizations that put faith into action. Parent and grandparent clubs are welcoming and active in the life of the school.  The greater faith community of the parish unites everyone in a community of faith.
